Certified Early Childhood Education Teacher – School-Based Services 

Location: Boise, ID | Remote 

  • $45-50/hour
  • 100% Remote - Telehealth for a rural Idaho community 
  • 2-3 hours per week 

A Role That Supports Inclusive Learning and Student Success 

At Care Options for Kids, our school-based Certified Early Childhood Education Teacher play a critical role in creating inclusive learning environments where students with diverse needs can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is designed for educators who are skilled, adaptable, and committed to meeting students where they are. 

The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will provide virtual services to  Head Start students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), focusing on communication and social skills as outlined in the students Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 30 minutes of live virtual instruction each week to monitor student progress, provide specialized instruction, and support IEP goals.
  • Meet virtually with the on-site paraeducator for approximately 30 minutes each week to provide coaching, review student progress, address concerns, and plan instructional priorities for the upcoming week.
  • Provide ongoing indirect supervision and guidance to the paraeducator, who will deliver approximately 2 hours of daily support, 4 days per week, and document student progress.
  • Complete Medicaid billing documentation for all billable direct service sessions.
  • Monitor student progress and prepare quarterly progress reports.
  • Implement the student's IEP, recommend and complete amendments as needed, and facilitate the annual IEP meeting, including all required documentation.

This position requires approximately 2 hours per week. Services are provided during the Head Start program schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in PST.

Requirements 

  • Experience as an Early Childhood or Elementary Teacher 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 

  • Degree in Education preferred 

  • Early Childhood Certificate / Credential Preferred
  • Previous experience delivering live virtual instruction or online lessons is strongly preferred 
  • Strong organizational and instructional planning skills 

  • Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information 

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance
