Responsibilities:
- Follow up calls pertaining to documentation
- Gather clinical documentation as needed (including visit summaries, home exercise programs, therapy notes, hospital admissions & discharges)
- Device training FCS Field Staff new hires on EMR
- Scheduling aide visits in EMR
- Providing community resource support
- Navigating the Colorado Medicaid system/ Medicaid waivers.
- Monthly/ quarterly quality assurance of aide visit notes
- Submit payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring that all visits are appropriately submitted
- Assist with administrative duties such as answering phones
- Ensure accurate Protected Health Information (PHI) remains confidential and is accurately entered in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Education and Experience Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, bachelor's degree or technical school preferred
- Experience in healthcare, preferably with patient access and EMR work experience
- Two years of healthcare experience preferred; one year required
- Demonstrated computer proficiency including but not limited to spreadsheets and email
- Ability to be resourceful and initiate collaboration needed to carry out varied job duties
- Intermediate competency with computers and other technology that are utilized to conduct job functions including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Proven ability to work independently with outcome
- Must be able to problem-solve and work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlines.
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- The ability for light to moderate physical exertion regularly, such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stopping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, such as books, papers, files, and medical office supplies.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time in the work area.
- Ability to look at, and work on, a computer for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a hybrid manner (1-2 days per week in the office) with a successful remote working environment at home.
- Ability to make and answer phone calls for long periods of time.
