Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the corporate Business Development and financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”) functions for the COFK platform.
Key responsibilities will include ownership of corporate financial planning processes (including annual budgeting, forecasting, analysis of operating results, ad-hoc decision support) and business development activities from target identification through transaction close and subsequent integration.
This position will be a resource for Division Presidents, Regional Operations Leaders, and Operations Senior Leadership. This position will be a salient resource by providing advisement and analysis that will help operations to run efficiently, identify emerging trends, pro forma development for new initiatives, lead budget preparation and monitoring, help with interpreting financial information, and help be a change agent where appropriate.
This position reports directly to the Platform VP, Business Development & Financial Planning & Analysis and be able to function in a matrix reporting structure with accountability to the Chief Financial Officer, Division Presidents, and Corporate Experts as appropriate.
It is essential that the Senior Financial Analyst be able to support the values of COFK and interact effectively with leadership and staff at all levels. Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Provide financial analysis and routine reporting in support of internal stakeholder needs, Board of Directors, and Lenders
  • Assist in preparation of materials for quarterly board meetings and ad hoc board-level reporting
  • Build and monitor operating and capital budgets
  • Provide Ad hoc financial analysis and financial modelling to support business objectives
  • Provide the monthly Management Operating Review reports for senior leadership, and key corporate stakeholders
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, including service line analysis
  • Develops and utilizes decision support tools to proactively identify financial, operational, and business concerns and opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Business Development
  • Participate in sourcing potential acquisition candidates and assess business and cultural fit with Care Options for Kids
  • Collaborate with COFK management team and board to determine market value of acquisition candidates
  • Oversee due diligence processes
  • Collaborate with COFK management teams to plan and implement integration of acquired entities

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
  • CPA, MBA, or related degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of purchase accounting and the ability to create pro forma financial statements and models using acquisitions deal terms
  • Must be able to assess situations, identify issues/problems and prioritize duties
  • Experience in financial statement review and analysis
  • Experience in forecasting and budgeting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application required
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle applications and data base software preferred

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000/year
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid work environment with requirement to travel to office in Denver, CO or Eatontown, NJ on a weekly cadence
  • Normal office/meeting environments. Routine periods of sitting, walking and standing are required
  • The work environment includes opportunities for telework/remote work
