The Orientation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and facilitating new hire orientation for field staff. This role ensures a smooth and efficient hiring process into the organization.

The Orientation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and facilitating new hire orientation for field staff. This role ensures a smooth and efficient hiring process into the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Plays a key role in managing the high-volume orientation process for field staff.
- Manages the scheduling and logistics for orientation, ensuring a smooth execution.
- Conducts orientation sessions for field staff.
- Ensures that new field staff are familiar with the organization’s policies, procedures, culture, values, and role expectations.
- Provides EMR and Employee Portal training.
- Provides an overview of key programs, resources, and support services available.
- Examines and verifies the authenticity of I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements.
- Accurately completes Form I-9 for new hires in accordance with legal and organizational guidelines.
- Provides timely and thorough updates to the Talent Acquisition team and offices.
- Maintains strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy.
- Performs other duties as assigned in a professional manner.
- Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines in a complex and dynamic operating environment.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on scheduling needs.
- A college degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of human resources or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in health care preferred.
- The ability to engage and connect with diverse groups and create an inclusive, welcoming environment
- The ability to multitask, prioritize workload, manage multiple priorities, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of, or proficient in, Microsoft office applications, and quick-to-learn proprietary software package.
