About the Role
The School RN provides direct nursing care and health support to students in a school setting. This role focuses on student safety, health management, and coordination of care during the school day.
- Provide nursing care for students with acute and chronic health conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform assessments as needed
- Monitor and manage conditions such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, and allergies
- Communicate with parents, school staff, physicians, and administrators
- Maintain accurate documentation and student health records

Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RN)
- Providing one-to-one nursing care in a home environment or School based setting
- Taking direction from clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
- Following the plan of care
- Following all clinical and office policies
Requirements for Registered Nurses (RN)
- Valid New Jersey RN License or Multistate License
- Physical from within three years
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train
