Pediatric Nurse RN/LVN

As an Pediatric Nurse RN/LVN with Care Options for Kids, you’ll provide one-on-one, in-home pediatric care that allows for meaningful impact without the fast pace of a hospital setting. In your first year, you’ll be expected to deliver compassionate, skilled nursing based on individualized care plans often including trach, vent, or G-tube care while collaborating closely with families and clinical supervisors. Success will be measured by your clinical competency, consistency, and ability to build trust with patients and families. Responsibilities forLicensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)/ Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician ordered treatments for:
- Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Current, active Texas RN or LVN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train

*Bonus for eligible cases only. The eligible employee will receive $500 for every 250 billable hours worked up to $2,500. Eligible employees must complete the pre-onboarding process within 10 days of submission of the initial application. Valid for first-time employees only and on completion of all required documents. Parents and/or Guardians of a Care Options for Kids clients or a potential Care Options for Kids clients are not eligible to receive a bonus.
